Infant & Pre-School Teacher
Job Description:
Our growing child care facility is looking for Infant teachers who can help create a fun environment and incorporate educational activities that assist in our children’s development. The Infant teacher will be responsible for monitoring and teaching new borns up to 1yr old children in our program, developing a curriculum that the children will respond to positively and partnering with our team to enhance the learning environment at our school. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a constructive and ongoing rapport with children and parents
Create activities that are fun and educational for the children
Collaborate with other teachers to ensure that the school fosters an environment that is inviting and nurturing for every child
Deliver reports on potential concerns about students to management as needed
Manage day-to-day classroom activities, including structured lessons, free play, bathroom breaks, lunch time and rest time for students
Skills and Requirements:
CDA Certificate preferred but not required
2+ years experience working with Pre-School children in a classroom setting
able to communicate with parents in a professional and caring manner
Caring and nurturing attitude towards children
